Brandon Smith - Founder & Executive Director

Brandon Smith (he/him) is an American actor, singer, producer, and filmmaker based in NYC. Brandon has worked in Regional and Off-Broadway theaters, including Carnegie Hall, St. Louis Symphony, Caveat NYC, Joes Pub Cafe, and more. He has cultivated partnerships with national commercial brands, such as Sabra, Aetna, Hulu, and CVS. His latest project BIll & Robert is currently streaming on Amazon Prime and the Here TV app. Brandon creates work that celebrates the joy of marginalized and queer BIPOC communities. Brandon is committed to local activism and organizing. His practice is rooted in blending social justice and storytelling, to create meaningful conversations and solutions to issues harshly impacted communities of color.  

Camille Clossom- Board Member

Camille (she/they)  is a performing artist, writer, and creative producer based out of Brooklyn. Originally from St. Louis, Camille has spent the past 15 years performing in regional houses such as St. Louis Black Repertory Theatre, Tent Theatre, Touhill Performing Arts Center, and the Dock Street Theatre in Charleston, SC, the oldest regional house in the United States..

Camille’s Off Broadway credits include: originated the role of Gertrude in Evelyn the Musical (Dixon Place) and Amber in The Bucket List (Harp Theatricals). Others: Queering the Canon Sondheim/Kander & Ebb (Joe’s Pub), Princess Cabaret (54 Below), Don’t Tell Mama, and Carnegie Hall.
